SKID ROW To Jam With 'Rock Star: Supernova''s DILANA In Hollywood
January 4, 2008Dilana Robichaux — who is best known for her participation on the hit CBS reality-show "Rock Star: Supernova" — will join SKID ROW on stage tonight (Friday, January 4) at the House of Blues in West Hollywood, California. "They asked me if I would go up and jam ONE song with them so it's gonna be a FUN time!" says Dilana.
Robichaux last year signed a worldwide, long term, co-publishing agreement with Cherry Lane Music Publishing Company Inc., whose roster includes songwriters such as Quincy Jones, the BLACK EYED PEAS, and John Legend.
Dilana has been collaborating with MÖTLEY CRÜE guitarist Mick Mars on material for her new album, tentatively due later in the year.
SKID ROW guitarist Dave "Snake" Sabo was forced to sit out the band's recent European tour due to "some legal troubles" that were "keeping him in America," according to the group's other axeman, Scotti Hill. Filling in for Snake on the trek was Ryan Cook from the band HAIR OF THE DOG.
SKID ROW's latest album, "Revolutions Per Minute", was released on October 24, 2006 via SPV Records. The follow-up to 2003's "ThickSkin" was recorded at WireWorld studio in Nashville, Tennessee with Michael Wagener, who previously worked with the band on their two most commercially successful albums to date, "Skid Row" (1989) and "Slave to the Grind" (1991).
